NEWS 2008
Do you know anyone 8 years and under who likes to groove? Whilst still song-writing for the mature audience, Liz has diversified her interests to include writing and performing songs for children. In collaboration with her brother, children’s author Pat Flynn, Liz has written songs for a play that Pat adapted from one of his books called Beeware. Pat and Liz are performing ‘Beeware’, a musical journey about dangerous animals (especially bees…) at the ‘Out of the Box Festival’ from June 10th to June 15th. ‘Out of the Box’ is Australia’s biggest children’s theatre festival and tickets are now available for school groups and the public.
Along with a live show, there is a book and CD available which can be ordered now, or purchased at the State Library Bookshop in June. Tickets to ‘Beeware’ can be ordered through Qtix. A synopsis of the show is below:
